- The Juris Doctor Program
If you want to practice law and get the largest range of career opportunities, you should enroll in the Juris Doctor Program at Concord Law School. Graduates may apply to sit for the California bar examination. After passing the bar examination and fulfilling other legal requirements, graduates are entitled to practice law in California as well as in many Federal courts.
- The Executive JDSM Program
Students who want an education in law but do not desire to practice law should enroll in the Executive JDSM program. Some program objectives are: develop effective communication skills, self-discipline, analytical thinking, and intellectual insight; provide the training required for a comprehensive understanding of the profession of law; and graduates are able get ahead in their current profession or take advantage of other career opportunities requiring legal skill.
- The Executive JDSM Health Track Program
This program offers a specialized Health Law Track for those students interested in pursuing or continuing a career in health care. Paramedics, Nurses, or other health care practitioners may choose Concord's Health Law Track within the Executive JDSM program to advance their careers.
Concord provides a rigorous and comprehensive legal education with a personalized curriculum and study program leading to a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or an Executive JDSM. Instruction is both highly theoretical and highly practical, emphasizing a critical understanding of how law functions in society as well as a practical knowledge of how lawyers function within the legal system.
Concord Law School is approved as a degree-granting institution in the State of California by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. Approval means the law school and its operation comply with standards established by California law for private postsecondary institutions.
Concord is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The DETC Accrediting Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
