- NA-POST, National Project Organizing Substitute Teachers - Strives to improve the training, pay, and benefits for America’s substitute and replacement teachers.
- National Education Association (NEA) - Comprised of secretaries, teachers, and other educational employees, the NEA promotes and supports public education.
- Plainview Congress of Teachers - Made up of librarians, teachers, and secretaries of New York’s Plainview-Old Bethpage area.
- United Teachers of Island Trees - An official organization working on behalf of the teachers in the Island Trees area of New York.
